I cant Highlight Divx/xvid-files in explorer

When I do, Explorer crashes.. Anyone seen this? What should i do? I can't even open the files anymore...

this may seem like an odd question to you, but have you tried re-starting your pc? system restore? have spyware? virus software installed?
