Hi folks,
Is there a proper method to filling out a DVD-5 disc - making it more full with dummy files? On a short burned disc I've noticed they won't play on just a few players I've come across. Say for instance the burn is only about 2.5Gb.
By crudely padding out that same disc with a 1Gb dummy file in a separate folder (crude test), that same disc then plays on all of the players it wouldn't previously, the players I've tested it on anyway.
There's one film on the disc, converted from avi (VSO DivX2DVD), so can anyone plz advise me of a proper method (relatively untechnical explanation) to pad that disc out a bit more more with dummy files? I'm creating my ISO to burn via this method:

Edit: More info...
I've a VIDEO_TS folder of 2,426.5Mb which will obviously be a short burn. I'm looking to make that disc more full, preferably by a proper method of doing so? Am burning to Ritek blank media, of which I've burned loads with no problem.
Cheers.
