    Streaming?

    Hello All.
    I'm a new user and i've got a Q:
I'm the video guy of an audio company.
I have four 20min clips that i need to prepare for streamig.
to get the best results I used Divx for encoding.
Now, the company that will host the streaming says there's a better way that will make the files better and smaller. they will not tell me how though, since that's what they do and want to get paid.
Can anyone suggest a better way than Divx?
    quality is a major issue.

    Thanx a bunch

You can go for H.264 based Encoding

You can go for H.264 based Encoding it gives smaller file size means better compression. And if interested some other video quality enhancement feature you can addd in it.
hope it helps in some way

I always did like xvid better than divx. xvid is faster and gives better quality. For a comparison of several mpeg4 encoders see the mpeg4 test comparison at doom9.org, and the winner is xvid
