Extra frames help

    Extra frames help

    Im using VirtualDub to cut a section of a .avi file out that I want but when I play the file that I cut out it has 10 seconds off extra footage in the beginning .. I just want to know how to take it out ?

    maybe you have an extra key frame? use the "frame by frame " button, you must have selected to much video...

      seeing as the extra footage is 10 seconds (250 frames if PAL), the max keyframe interval is likely 250. simply move one keyframe more than you originally did in virtualdub, and it should cut just fine

        no that did not work i dont know why r what is going on? is there an option that adds more frames for when cuting a avi in to 2 so that file 2 has some of file 1 ?? i dont know any more help guys??
