hi downloaded a file but tmpg and vitual dub wont open it and windows player wont neither it says unsupported fil;e mp4 so how can i fix it got most of codecs in. thanks chelly.

Load it into VirtualDub. Under the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information". Post EVERYTHING listed (or a .JPG of a screen capture of the information). -
hi virtual wont open it it says its couldnt locate de compressor for mp42 virtual needs a vfw compatible codec to de compress video,
direct show codecs such as those used by windows media player r not suitable. cheers chelly.Comment

Load it into VirtualDub. Under the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information". Post EVERYTHING listed (or a .JPG of a screen capture of the information).
