Someone help me with VirtualDub

yes I wanted to capture a video from my webcam , but i couldn't get anything, it says that is capturing frame and audio but when I open the file is black or nothing appears, so what do i do?

other questions is that I used to get video from my camcorder ,it worked but with no audio ,please help me.
