contact the manufacturer. have the manual for it? if not, go to their web page and look up your model. you should be able to find a 1-800 number.

if you have trouble, come back with the make/model number

most older models are limited to playing regular CD's, and might support cd-text (wav files). newer ones can do mp3, and possibly mp4, and take usb sticks

thats what id love to know...what format is a regular Cd...is it WMA, WAV or...? thank you
use 'nero express' to make an audio cd, it should convert the mp3s automatically, then burn
thats right but i have about 300 MP3 files (currently on 1 CD) to be burnt on 3-4 Cds in audio format & it dont fit. By using nero i m able to just burn 7-8 files and thats it. thats why i thought if i could try and get all these (300 MP3 converted to audio Cds) on 3-4 Cds (audio Cds)....
.CDA files are much more larger in size! Hence, why you can only fit 14 or 19 songs one 1 CD as anonymez said.
I have a "MP3" player in my truck, I can usually fit 150 to 200 songs on 1 CD (That with them having a 192 bitrate). But, your CD player has to be able to read and play "RAW" .mp3 format.
(The bitrate in which the mp3's were recorded in almost makes a huge difference in how many you can get on a CD. The bigger the bitrate, the bigger the file size. All of my mp3's are in between the 128 and 192 bitrate range. The lower the bitrate, the worse sound quality you will have. 128 is "Near CD Quality".)
