i can see it, but can't hear it

Hello all. I am a newbie to the DivX world, but I have been enjoying watching and hearing movies with the DivX player I downloaded from DivX.com But now I have run across a movie that will play, but no sound comes out of it. I tried opening it in RealPlayer and it says that the audio is unsupported and I need another audio codec. Anybody know what is going on?

What DivX codecs have you got installed? Most of the time, it could either be simple WMA stereo (Solution by installing 3.11a) or ac3 (You need to install the right filter. Using a codec pack, such as Nimo or Tsunami, is recommended).

which divx codec u installed? the divx5? the new playa of divx5 (not so that one of divx4) doesnt play ac3 sound in this version, perhaps in a later update, sound should be played with windows media player
