How do I make audio CD from AVI ?

My music school audition requires an regular audio CD only.
The AVI file plays fine in WMP. I attempted making an audio CD from the AVI file, but Nero and WMP don't accept AVI files.
I have a digital camcorder, Nero 6 , and WinXP. I only need the soundtrack from my video. Thank You

2- Click Streams, select Stream list, and then press Save WAV

also, if your avi has mp3 audio i'd demux it, this way you can burn it directly with nero.
