Problems with audio divx converting

i have avi with divx audio track. i want to convert it into mp3 (to play on my dvd player). extracted from avi audio track into wav. but when i begin to convert it into mp3, appears message that missing some codec. but gspot shows that codec is installed.
0x0161(MSAUDIO2/DIVX, Microsoft Corporation)
48000Hz 256 kb/s total (2 chnls)
how can i solve this problem?

download & install http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html

and try encoding again
