Blank Video

I have tried using the progame called "afreeCodecVT" to try and see what codec that I need to get to view an AVI video that I have... when I go to browse I can see the video but cannot see it when I play it... can anyone let me know what I have to do from the report below that afreeCodecVT generated for me...

i find it odd it does not display the fourcc, its possible it could be an issue with afreecodec. try opening the file in 'virtualdubmod', and post file information.

OR, you could just download & install the 'october 13 2005' version of 'ffdshow' from http://www.aziendeassociate.it/cd.asp?dir=/ffdshow and play the file, it should be able to play just about anything that can possibly be contained in an avi
