    Watermark

There is a watermark of a timer in an avi I have downloaded, is it possible to use virtuladub to get rid of it? And if so how? Thanks

its possible, but not without some hassle,

you need an image of the watermark, exactly as it is, in size and shape, against a pure black background. you can then use the 'x-logo' filter with virtualdub & remove it.

this will not work on animated watermarks...

...you can try the MSU filter, too --- http://www.compression.ru/video/subt.../index_en.html
