    Help?

hey im a lil new to this but id like to think i hav some understanding! I have a video file, which is .avi, but whenever i play it, either in windows media player or DivX the audio alwys seems to skip ahead of the video.

I have used G-Spot Codec Information Appliance to analyse the file and it said that the video is in Xvid format. I downloaded this codec but the audio still seems to skip ahead of the video. When i render the file using the G-Spot appliance it says that it should be succesful but the problem still occurs.

This video was downloaded as part of a folder of about 25 videos, and roughly half of those are in Xvid, while the rest are DivX5.0 and work perfectly, its just all the Xvid videos that have this problem of video falling behind.

Is there any solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a load!
