    Movie Quality

    Hi, I'm a new guy at all this converting. I was wondering, for a movie you did not rip yourself, is there any way to increase the quality, like running the frames through a filter or something? I have some low-quality anime that I'm trying to look better.

    Nop you cant. You could it you ripped it yourself by raising the bitrate but if it is already low you cant raise it.

      There are many such filters (sharpening, smoothing, etc.) available for use within VirtualDub. Be advised, though, that using such filters can be time consuming and painstaking. Additionally, there's just so much you can do to improve a poor quality video. Afterall, the old adage is still true - "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" ;>}
