when i convert an .avi with winavi to dvd (vob), i play the vobs and it seems to play slower than the .avi... example; someone walks, its like a pause, play, pause, play, really fast... its not really that bad, everything seems normal... someone as picky as me could only probably notice this but you can see a difference when you watch them both. im assuming this happens cause of either the program winavi or it happens on every program when you convert to dvd?

That's because WinAVI is a trial program. Try DivX2DVD. That should work better for you.CYA Later:

POS? Try the FREE version of DivX2DVD, it works great. Search at www.videohelp.com for it - now it isn't free but you can still get the free one. TMPGenc is great but not free.
Also, Nero can author DVDs with menus if you wanted them.CYA Later:
