    Help Video Problem [ I Get Sound But No Image ]

    Ive Looke Over The Other Thread Of The Guy That Posted The Same Problem But My Problem I Have Was Not Answered...

    I Use Windows Media Player...I Tried To Play A Video A Few Times It Only Happens On 2 Of The Videos I Have Tried To PLay In Avi Format...I hear Sound Of The Movie But No Image Will Show Up...I tried To Burn One Of My Avi's 2 See If It Was Just The Media Player But It Wasnt...It Played The Same On My Dvd PLayer I Got Sound But No Image....It Also Wouldnt Let Me Open The Avi File In DVD Santa....It Said It Could Not Open The Avi File...For Some Reason....But It Will Open In Windows Media PLayer ....I just get No Image...

    I Would Apreciate Any help From Anyone...Thanks Everyone Here At THis Forum!!!

    you could try installing ffdshow, then try again. perhaps you could post the file information using virtualdub.

        BTW in the future you might also want to try using media player classic (freeware) to play your files. it will also play your dvd's ripped to your HD.

          Again Thank You For All The Help...But Do You Know What Was Wrong With The Avi's At All....I Also Have One Other Video That Plays The Image But No Sound Is Comming From It...What Could This Be!!!??....If You Could Help Me On That That Would Be Great Also...Thanks Alot Dude !!!!

            post a screenshot of the file info with virtualdub. load your problem file. go to file>file information. with that window open:

            press ALT+print screen. open MSpaint>edit>paste>save as(select PNG).go to imageshack
            http://www.imageshack.us/ browse for this file you just made, then "host" it. copy and paste the link under "hotlink for forums 1" in your post.
