Hi,
I'm very new to using the DIVX codec so I'm unaware of exactly it all works. However, I've just followed the instructions exactly on this page:
However, on the output DIVX AVI, there is like a 2 second delay eveytime I try and skip parts of the video. This doesn't happen with my MPEG files so I haven't really got any idea why this does this. The same happens when I export a movie from windows movie maker. On my MPEG files, I can skip frames and the video will still play without any delay. Also on uncompressed AVIs I can. Hope this sounds clear. Are there any settings to tweak in divx codec in order for it not to do this?
PC specs are: 512MB DDR RAM, 2Ghz proc, 80GB HDD.
Any help very much appreciated.
