AC3 DivX: slow video or no sound

I want to playback a DivX file with AC3 sound.

In the DivX Player 2.0 there simply is no audio at all (I did install AC3 filters, etc)

In PowerDivX and the MicroDVD Player there is wonderful sound, but the video part is too slow. Thus, the movie is not synchronized, and... well, it's like slowmotion.

Anybody knows where to make adjustments in the settings or where to get fixes etc...?

Try playing it under Windows Media Player...

Just personally curious - did you create the file or did you download it?

Typically sub 500MHz systems have difficulty playing high resolution clips. You may want to post system details. As Setarip said, try WMP 6.4 or GDIVX or Yahooplayer.

Reduce post processing level to 0 (in properties) and color to 16 bit, and the desktop area to 640x480.
