Adding a title screen

I was just curious, I got the DVD ripping with AGK down. Now, I wanted to add a 5 second title screen before my ripped video, saying what the video was and whatnot. However, VDub will not let you append it unless it is the same bitrate. How would I save a still image, say a BMP, as an AVI that has the exact framerate, size, etc. of the original, so that VDub will let me append them and do a Direct Stream Copy?

No. It said that the framerates don't match, 23.976 vs. 23.976. Is VDub weird or what?

Maybe it's the compression. I have the rip the size I want, 800 MB, so I don't wanna deal in uncompressed.
