    read divx on tv

    hi

I want to read my divx on tv but I dont want to buy the Xcard of Sigmadesigns because it dont support subtitles files.

So is there a difference of quality between the tv outputs of graphic card and which one has the better one? (I heard ATI are supposed to be good for this?)

Did somebody try to do it and does it look as good on tv as on pc screen?

    thanks for the info

I have some experience with this.

    1. using SD hollywood+ card with divxplus, great picture quality, but no subtitles support.

    2. using TV-out on a asus7100 geforce 2 mx, this sucked, picture seemed way more blurred than with the hollywood card.

    3. using A Matrox Marvel G450, great picture quality, works flawlessly with vobsub subs in wmp6.4. This is what I'am currently using, and I'am very happy with this solution.

I have also heard that ATI All-in-Wonder is supposed to be good, but I have never tried this.
