Sound Only In Right Speaker, Static In Left Speaker

I've got a video with audio only coming from the right speaker while static comes from the left speaker. This is the only video i have that has this problem and it doesn't effect any music files. I've tried to change the volume control balance to the left speaker but all that does is make the static louder.

I'm thinking theres something wrong with the audio layers within the video? So i guess ill probably have to extract the audio but i'm at a loss what to do next. Does anybody know?

    Welcome to the <a href="http://forum.digital-digest.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_new_faq_item" target="_blank">Digital Video Forums</a> Emps!

Extract the audio out of the video and save it as a .wav file. You should be able to use VirtualDub (or VirtualDubMod if the file contains VBR audio). Then use BeSweet GUI to multiplex it into 2 channel audio.

      Thanks for the fast response!

Uh could you tell me how to multiplex? I've extracted the audio as a wav file and now i'm staring at the BeSweet GUI looking for the magic multiplex button.. The video file i'm working with is a .wmv, if that effects anything.
