    Burning back up copies

After using DVD Shrink to get the files from a DVD I own, I burned them to a DVD but they were only burned in file format and there was no association to any applications I have. I have used DVD shrink before to shrink movies for my PSP, but have to use PSP Video to copy to my PSP. How do I go about burning to a DVD back up once I have shrunk the DVD so that it will play?

Thanks Lt! I downloaded DVD decryptor and everything is fine until it comes to write to the disc I get the message:
"Not enouth space on teh disc to burn...etc...Image siz 3,263,363 Sectors
      Disc size 2,295,104 Sectors.
The disc is a brand new DVD+RW 4.7 Gb. Do I need a larger dvd? not sure there are any. Or do I compress the original - question does DVD Decryptor do this?
      Thanks Oldmoondog

There is something on the disc.

If it is a RW, just erase the disc and try again.

As Chewy said, you need to format it first before you can use it if it is a RW right out of the box.

Thanks Guys. But I have formatted - and still the same report as above i.e. not enough sectors!
space available on the disc is 4.6 GB.

Sorry. I must a bit thick. I originally asked the question about DVD Shrink,, But LT Columbo said use DVD decryptor! So what you are telling me now is to use DVD shrink to shrink it then use DVD decryptor to burn it to Disc? OK here we go again.

dvd decrypter ISO read/write. if it's to big then naturally you need to compress (Shrink) first. burn with dvd decrypter or imgburn.

what colombo said was to use dvd to make an iso of your burned dvd,
how could it get too big to fit on another dvd?

                          Guys,
thanks vm for your help. Worked like a dream. Cannot understand why it would not fit back onto another DVD. But shriking it seemed to solve the problem. Once again thank you for your help. I am no longer new to this game!!
