weird problem with no audio

ok, i currently use windows media player 7.1 and i installed the divx 3.11 alpha codec along with the divx 5.0 one, but everytime i play certain movies such as batman & robin or planet of the apes, it first says "media changing", then searching for codec", next "connecting to server", then receiving codec", and then some other stuff. basically, i have to connect to the interenet everytime i wanna play those movies not to mention there is no sound either way. any help or feedback is welcome, thanx in advance

I suggest replacing 5 with DivX4.12. DivX5 automatically takes over 3.11 content playback, which is really irksome.
