wm8 jerky video?

FlaskMpeg Encoded with WM8 (due to work pc = no Divx Support) Settings are Video-352*288, 25fps, deinterlaced, threshold of 2, interpolation, referance iDCT; Audio- decode audio, same as input, Post processing- HQ bicubic, Cropped, Keeping Aspect Ratio v 608 mb a 128b 48hz stereo

with jerky video on play back. what could cause this?

If you've put a checkmark next to "Reconstruct Progressive Images" uncheck it. If it was unchecked, put a checkmark next to it...

Unless it's been eliminated in v.6.xxx (I continue to use the very stable v.0.594PX3), click on the "Options" dropdwn menu and select "Global Project Options (Export Movie Settings)". Then click on the "Video" tab - and look in the section labeled "Video Structure"...

I found it, but it is shaded out not providing the capabilities to select. Is there a way to enable this option. I'm going to check the flaskmpeg faq, but currently unable to chose this option. Thanks for the help

still jerky

i had to bring the movie down to 24 fps to access the option.
after i ran a rip with with the option chosen i still get the jerky motion. could there be any other way? could dropped frames cause this? do you have a way to transfer files. i could send you copy to see what i'm talking about. do you know why it seems every movie is in best sync at 25 fps. i'm backing up my dvd's from the usa. nothing yet that i've experienced is in sync on 29.97fps Do you know anything about the ATI Radeon 7500 Mobility Card? I'm also trying to solve a projection problem.

If you select Uncompressed PCM (WAV)16Bit 48,000Hz in Flask, your videos will always be in synch. While this makes for a substantially larger file initially, if you then load the file into VirtualDub (set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copy" and "Audio" to "Full Stream Processing") and set the audio conversion to 44,100Hz and the audio compression to the 44,100Hz .MP3 sampling rate of your choice, you'll be pleasantly surprised at both the filesize and synchronization...

i'm going to try the new way tonight. If they work I will post my results here. Will that method reduce the jerky video or just garantee sync. I'm getting perfect sync with 25 to 24 fps. I'm required to use wm8 due to my work pc does not allow other formats, and I'm unable to update with new codecs. Does for a video to play on tv out, would you need to adjust resolution and frame rate. Is it dependent on any specific setting. Even with progressive image the video is still jerkey intermitently through the movie
