Incomplete Video Codec List in VirtualDub

    Hello:

I just downloaded VirtualDub 1.6.16, and when I go to Video=>Compression I see list of available codecs but the list is incomplete.

I have installed Klite Codec Pack 2.5 and this pack contains lots of codecs like DivX, XVid, etc. I don't know why VirtualDub does not show those codecs. What can I do to make them appear on the list?

By the way I have a Windows XP SP2 Operating System (x86).

    Thank you.

uninstall the codec pack (which is outdated anyway and IIRC only the full pack comes with vfw codecs), download whatever codecs you're after individually

      Thanks a lot Anonymez!

Now I realize I have to get the FULL version of Klite.

      Regards.

if you insist on a codec pack you'd better better of with ace IMO.
