copy protection for your own DVDs

Is there any way to put any form of copy protection system (hopefully for free), no matter how feeble, on DVDs we author ourselves?

Burn on cheap media at maximum speed while multitasking and apply paper adhesive labels to the disc when done....usually pretty effective at preventing rerips.

Write a letter to Sony, Disney, or the RIAA and ask them.

Better still why not just be a good guy, and make extra copies and hand them out to the people who want them or need them, something like freeware software program.

And if your freeware software program is any good, (and there are quite a number of them on this forum) you DVD fans will be making donations to your freeware software program enought to support the author(s) and the entire beta team or testors.

If SONY can't stop it, what makes you think you can?

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.

                      hey Loco this was cool..lol!

                      trying to help,partial solution:
if the dvd have more than 4Gb,do only one vob in NTFS partition.
the dvd only can be copyed if the partition of the pirate is ntfs too...
now we only need to think what to do if the pirate copy using 2 drives on the fly...lol!
