I just completed my first DIVX movie, but I have a problem......

Ok,first let me say that the picture quality is awesome, but the film and sound isn't in sync.......When someone speaks I hear their voice before their mouth moves........It's very annoying!......It reminds me of them old martial arts films I used to watch......How can I fix that?...........BTW,I would also like the audio to be a little louder.......Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The audio tab of Virtualdub will help you there. Play around with the Interleaving and Volume settings (Synch. and loudness, respectively). Be aware that if you only intend to correct the audio synch. problem, you can just set the audio tab to Direct Stream Copy. However, if you really need to amplify the volume as well, you will need to set the audio tab to Full Processing Mode, which consequently requires you to recompress the audio. When all is set, go to File -> Save as .AVI and give the new file a name.
