xvid file is unreconized

Hi,

I download a movie that is an xvid file and it came in peices ( cd1 and cd2 )

when i open these files i try to play it through wmp is says unknown file.

I download the xvid codec and still nothing works ( i dont actually know how to work it ) ( should it run automatticallty? )

an example of one file is dstil-bdtsxvidcd1.r00 and it goes up to dstil-sxvidcd1.r48 and then there is cd2 with the same file names but higher numbers

Can anyone help me in getting this file to play . how do i piece all these files together to play the movie ?

I hope you can help as i would love to watch this flick.
