Ligos Indeo Codec

The wifey brought home a PC Game "Tonka Tough Truck Adventures", for our son.

I installed it and got a msg that a codec was needed, see attached.

Went to the site http://www.ligos.com/index.php/home/products/indeo/

and was surprized to see that they wanted $14.95 for a codec ..... hahaha !

Let see should I buy a $15 codec for a $1 Garage Sale game ..... NOT ~!

Did a google and found the following:

Yes, I have and it's still in my second PC with Wins XP Pro with SP2. As you can see the information from the link posted above. Please download and save it. I believe that this free codec won't be available in the future

ffdshow can handle indeo, if you have it installed you can probably ignore the message.

I didn't have ffdshow, tried the Intel Codec Installer first and it worked, as mentioned .... guess I'll install in the future if needed .... THX as well !!
