Hello!
I own an Asus 7600 GT DHT and I have connected it via SCART to the TV. I am living in Germany so the standard here is PAL.
The problem is, that when I watch movies using the TV as primary display (through Clone: TV-Monitor) I get a change of contrast every 6-7 seconds or so. The contrast gets much much higher and the colors are way too vivid, then after a few seconds everything is fine. This is an ongoing repeating cycle. I had an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro before, connected to the same TV with the same cables, also SCART, and I have never had any problem.
The type of connector is S-Video and the standard is G-PAL (everything set in the nVidia control panel). Asus Splendid is turned off, but it doesn't make any difference if it is on or off.
When I play a movie in full screen on my TV and I move the mouse over the menu task bar (the play bar) and that pops up over the movie, I get a perfect picture and no contrast problems. Any ideas?
Chris
