    Vodei?

OK, I've looked at many, many websites on the internet to no avail to try and figure out a way to get rid of the vodei wrapper around this video... The video file underneath the vodei is an avi I know, but I have no idea how to get rid of it... Can someone help?

You can store your downloaded files on a DVD or other removable computer storage device for the purpose of backup in the same format as the original files. However, any DVDs that you burn with Vodei files will not be readable by a DVD player. You can only view the files on a computer that has Vodei MP installed...

Can Vodei encoded files be converted to other video formats like MPEG or DivX?

While it is theoretically possible, we are not aware of any existing software on the market which is capable of converting or re-encoding Vodei files with no loss in quality. The Vodei Converter, which is expected to be released in mid 2007, will allow movies to be converted to other formats for compatibility with DVD players, MAC, Linux, PSP, iPod and more.
    Apparently not....

If you want to reencode it without the Vodei garbage
    You will need GraphEdit [Download]
....or maybe you can. Is your version of Google broken?

I've downloaded video files that require Vodei to play in the Windows Media Player. When I added a 90-minute feature to VSO ConvertxToDVD, the title should have had 90 minutes listed next to the title but instead of that it said 1 minute and the preview screen had a picture of cinema certains with the web address to where I can doanload Vodei. I downloaded it and I was able to play the film in the Windows Media Player. I was also able to convert it to the DVD files. I must have downloaded a trial because now the problem is back. I'm asked to register it and there's a fee for that. I'm not paying to register because it's not often I need it. It's a pain when people upload videos or DVDs in an awkward way.

        Darren.
