Time to buy new HDTV ?

I am moving to a new place and searching for a flat HDTV, I am looking to buy at Newegg, BB, CC or Sear that are under 2000 ( I dont look for real big but the best combination between resolution and size), I am also like to hook this one to a XPS 400 service tag JGGYX91 plus cable. I need to know if I need to buy a video card with this new HDTV and as long as it is easy to install

any help or suggestion are appreciate

        DVI:

        VGA:

You may use either, but both the graphics card and display should have one of the same. DVI is preferred if you plan to watch HD content or play games.

Integrated TV Output support up to 1024x768 resolution
Integrated 165 MHz TMDS transmitter (DVI 1.0 compliant / HDMI interoperable and HDCP ready*)
AMD’s ATI Radeon™ X and Radeon™ 9550 series of GPUs are capable of processing HDCP signals ("HDCP ready"), however not all ATI Radeon graphics cards are HDCP ready. Please check the applicable ATI Radeon graphics card specification to determine if a particular ATI Radeon graphics card is HDCP ready. Some third parties manufacture graphics cards containing ATI Radeon GPUs -- you can inquire of them which models, if any, are HDCP ready. In addition, playing HDCP content requires additional HDCP ready components, including but not limited to an HDCP ready monitor, disc drive, multimedia application and computer operating system.
looking at the back of the computer does the vga cable plug into a slot
down low or up high next to the usb, lan, mouse and keyboard?

That would be S-Video. A HD display, when used via VGA or DVI, will be treated like a regular PC monitor.

HDCP is not an issue, only applies with HDMI AFAIK. If the HD display has DVI or VGA input, it should work fine. That card should do well enough at 720p, but might struggle at 1080p.

yours will work now OK, just see if it's good enough and then order a new card

having an extra will come in handy when you build that new computer
