Hi all, I recently downloaded a 700 mb's mpg movie which is slightly on the dark side, I wanted to know if it is possible to increase brightness and have it so it fits on a dvd disk.
I basically tried TMPGENC MPEG Editior which is great however the movie file ends up 53 GB's after conversion, also ends up as an AVI which is no problem but to big to fit. I basically increased brightness by 20 percent on there then saved as AVI which is standard.
I also tried Pocket DVD software but keeped getting error messages related to audio problems.
I was wondering if the problem is simply the fact that increasing brightness somehow increases pixel colour so there is no way around it. Granted I could increase brightness on WMP however i want to watch it on DVD player.
Would there be a software program which you can increase brightness without making the file massive, up to 2-3 gig should be alright as I could use avi to dvd software to convert to vob format then dvd shrink after to fit the disk size hopefully.
I can put this file in any format pretty much from avi, mpeg, mpg, kvcd and so fourth so any suggestions for software to use would be great.
Thank you.
Alex
