Are there any files that are no problem to openly discuss using ,i.e ogg ?,avi.?,div?,etc.
A list maybe.

All things are OK except you can not discuss ripping. If you wish to discuss editing a DVD you have made (eg combining titles, eliminating bad footage), that is OK.

And by ripping, we mean the process of removing copy protection. Everything else is fair game.

It is basically DVD Shrink without the deCSS and a new skin, slightly faster too.

So you would use it in preference to shrink then or on on par?

I use it because it is slightly faster...other than the lack of AEC controls it is the same. But there is an AEC changer if you prefer to use those controls.

I use Recode over DVD Shrink 90% of the time...it's just a personal preference. Give a try and see what you think.
