    First subtitle line problem

Well, I don't really know how could I explain this..

Here goes.. I generally watch embedded subtitled anime MKV / OGM videos.. There is one problem though and it really annoys me. The first sentence doesn't show up at all.. When playing MKV files I generally use Media Player Classic + ffdshow+CoreAVC (for x264 coded files) and DirectVobSub (for subtitles).

I tried almost everything but couldn't solve the problem. I tried to use ffdshow's and media player classic's subtitle support but they all doesn't show the first line in subtitles (embedded BTW).

Is there a solution to this?

You say the subs are embedded. You mean to say that they are hard coded(as part of the video) ?.Then why the need for Directvobsub ? The problem cannot be in any software you are using but must lie in the files you are playing.
