hi all l installed a hauppauge tv card and connected a coxial cable to my satelite dish it worked. l was able to watch tv on my computer and record.But now wmc won't reconize the card no signal.When l start my computer if l go to task manager cpu is about 60% there is a program running ehrecvr.exe if l try to end the task it just comes back after about four time it will stay off and cpu go's to 3% can anyone help thanks

take it out of startup with msconfig, start mediacenter when you need it. reboot often
is about all I could find on the file causing crashes

Going to msconfig was the 1st thing l tried it wasn't there the only thing l have on start up is avg.This only happens after l have started wmc and then retarted the computer.When l try to watch live tv the wheel just spins and then no signal.This all worked before the program is not working??

do you have any codec packs installed that might be causing a conflict, saw a few references to that problem

l don't know just got the computer three month ago vista premium hp every thing was working last week

might try system restore to a date when it worked, might work.
