Hello everyone, is there a simple way to analyze a specific video and get its parameters and pass it to a certain software to encode other files to the same format as the analyzed file. A friend gave me an unbranded PMP player that plays mp3s and video file, but there were no disc drivers or softwares included to convert files for the device. But there is a sample video in it which it could play. So, I tried several mp4, avi files but to no avail, still cant find one which it could play. File extension is .avi, seems like xvid file type, and its playable in wmpclassic. Could anyone help me with this. Thanks in advance.
