Adding audio to dvd

I captured some video from my camcorder to DVD using Svideo not realising it would not capture the audio. I then recorded over the tape. I have found an old VHS recording of the same video and would like to combine the VHS audio with the silent DVD video. Any ideas how to do it?

to record audio from your vhs you can use soundforge or other tool from www.mp3machine.com
then you can import your audio using powerdirector (free trial) or ulead (free trial)
and combine with your video and encode together, not sure if you will have sychro problem but you can try
