DV playback problem in Media Player Classic

I have transferred some home video from Sony Mini-DV Camcorder to PC through firewire. The file plays fine in VirtualdubMPEG2(both vid and audio), WMP,PowerDVD,Nero Showtime. It also plays in MPC,but in a somewhat slow motion. The audio and video remain in sync, but play slow. Now,if I load the video using AVISynth script(DirectShowSource) into MPC,everything is fine. How do I play it normally in MPC without using the .avs script? BTW, ffdshow did not help.

Please try the Panasonic DV codec which I have always used

Video forums, video software downloads, guides, blu-ray players and media.

Thanks Ben for your response.I already have Panasonic DV codec installed. But it is a VFW codec. MPC should not be bothered as it uses Directshow filters/codecs.
