Converting VCD .DAT file to .mpg

Help! I can't figure this out and I have a client waiting... I have multiple CDs from this client and they each have a slideshow on them. (Probably created in Pinnacle or something.) She wants them all on a DVD, so I'm trying to extract them and move them to .mpg files. I have gone through every step taken by another entrant from last year, but it's not working for me. I now have a trial version of VCDGear on my machine and I just bought ISOBuster. Neither is working. VCDGear tells me it can't find the MPEG stream and ISOBuster doesn't give me the option of changing it to .mpg. If I try to trick it and just change the file extension, it becomes a 0 KB file.

Anybody know another way? I found something that worked a couple of months ago and can't remember what it was!

You say it is a CD ? Then you will have a MPEGAV folder with .dat files in it. Just rename the .dat files to .mpg files.
