Thx much for taking the time to read this, hopefully I can find some help quickly.
NOTE: The TDA3 software in question is a trial version, though hopefully that doesn't have any bearing on my situation.
Well, let's start with the end of my story first; After quite a few hours of touch and go converting, I finally arrive at a VOB file format and TDA3 preps the video to be written to my DVD, I click "Write disc" thinking "finally, I'm done" and soon afterwards receive this irksome message:
"A command error occurred. [command = 53] [Sense:ASC:ASCQ = 05:30:05]"
What on earth does that mean? I suppose I'm not especially computer savvy, but come on, how is the average Joe supposed to follow up on that?? So hopefully someone here has a suggestion... Anyway, this was my end product:
(in the VIDEO_TS folder)
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
Short and sweet, from the beginning: I had an mkv file, downloaded CCCP (with Media Player Classic) and TMPGEnc- which converted the mkv to an m2v and a wav, then found I needed TDA3 to merge them onto a DVD, so I carefully (but poorly I'm sure) worked my way through the authoring process until I got the files above, and we come to where I hit the "Write disc" button and received my oh-so-irksome message.
I have been looking over the forums for a while now without result but I've structured my plea as best I could based on the info you asked of other users with similar problems. (i.e. -Sry if there's too much or too little info.)
Thx in advance for any help I may receive!
