Hey, im new to these forums and im not even sure if this is the correct place to post my question, so forgive me in advance. However, I am in a bit of a bind, and I need a solution. Heres my story... Currently, I work for a sort of start-up company which does a lot of video encoding. We use Linux, Ubuntu specifically, and FFMpeg. Things run smooth, but I'd like them to run even better. We currently go from vob -> mpeg (then write down timings etc so ffmpeg can split it correctly) -> wmv -> Flv. I think that the mpeg step is unnecessary, and so is Linux; I like using windows mainly because its familiar to me, and all the other programs that I need afterwards require the use of windows anyways. So, what would be the best way to encode the way I want to? There are 4 computers we use, 2 of each of these specs: 2@E6870@3.0ghz, 2@X2 6000+ @ 3.2GHZ 2gb ram 1TB 7200rpm hdd, SATA3 I think those are the only important specs anyways. So, which is the fastest \\ best program to get the job done? My friend suggest SuperC, AutoGK, and avi.NET as possible programs. I haven't used any of these yet, and was wondering if anyone had any personal recommendations as to these or other programs I could use! thanks
Which program is best for what I need to do?
