Converting issues; Urgent..

I'm having some problems.

This is the second time I've attempted to convert footage on a DV tape onto computer. The first time I had no problems whatsoever, however this time its a diffrent story.

While capturing in WMM the DV camera is playing the footage fine, however its seriously distorted on the screen and the file is bieng saved this way. I can't seem to get any sound footage. I tried capturing in NeroVison but I'm getting the same pixel and colour distortion.

Does anyone know why, and how I can stop this from happening? It's pretty urgent too, thanks.

Is everything the same as the first time, computer, firewire cable, no usb, cam connected to ac power/charger?

Try to capture with WinDV and see if the problem persists.
