Hey there people.
I'm not a person who knows sooo much about computers but i'll post down the best i can about what's going on.
Chapter 1
I got a new phone. Nokia 73. It's 3.2 Megapixel Camera saves videos as our favourite file type ".Mp4/Mpeg4". Now... i have about 3 videos to put up on youtube. But none seem to be working when trying to upload.
This is a quote from youtube:
YouTube accepts a wide range of video file formats such as .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG transferred from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones.
If you don't think your current video file format is recognized by YouTube, you may get the best results from converting your file to MPEG4 video with MP3 audio.
Chapter 2
I went to the shop where i got my phone from and i asked , "Are there any converters? Like from Mp4 - 3.gp or something."
He said, "you can try ".3gp Converter". A program that's downloaded from this website. So far... i've tried changing the video to a 3gp. But it's not working.
Chapter 3
Next, I tried the AvI instead and now that successfully uploaded on youtube. But youtube says the video is "0:04" Which means its only playing the first 4 seconds of the video...Great.... >.<
THEN i opened the actual .avi video Icon via Windows Media Player (which is a green theme). When loading It says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found."
From there i went looking in this forum and saw that thread with the Codec Program. I downloaded afreeCodecVT v2.0.82. I browsed the .Avi and now it says "Cannot Determine the Size of File".
Seriously, what's going on? Does any1 have any idea how i'm suppose to put a Codec on the .Avi? Should i change the File type again? Give me an idea so i can put it up on youtube.
