Hi there everyone, I hope somebody here can help me with this problem.
For the past few days I have been recording things for my work on a MiniDV camera and I finished filming today with a big interview with my boss. I played the tape back in the camera for him a few times and it was fine.
So I brought it home and plugged the camera into my Macbook Pro to import it in Final Cut Pro and it tells me that nothing is there. I try iMovie, still nothing. I turned on the viewer on the camera and tried to play it back like I had earlier but everything was just gone.
I have absolutely no clue how this could have happened and it is really important that I get this information back or atleast a good explanation for why it has disappeared so I can tell my boss.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated, I can't film a lot of it again as it was of a unique event and I could get fired if I can't recover the tape.
