m2v format

Hi, i downloaded an m2v file, quality is superb but the size is 480x576. I want to encode it to a better size. anyone know what program i can use to do this??

i would like to encode as same format but if passible to avi or mpg.

What version of TMPGEnc are you using?
With the way you presently have TMPGEnc installed, will it read "routine" MPEG2 files? If not,

Do you have the requisite companion VFAPI plugin installed with TMPGEnc?

There is a plugin for TMPG to open M2V files, maybe that would help.
