Program for messed up avi files ?

I just downloaded a avi movie file and in the middle of it it there is about one minute of messy screen and little boxes and squares that makes the scene hard to understand. So iam asking if there is a program that can fix this or do i have to try downloading it again ?

Try running DivFix on it...

I already tried it and it didnt work.

If the file is playing properly and you experience no freezes before, during and after the "screwy" part, then that corrupted scene is very most probably a part of the video already and there is nothing much you can do, except download a new one.
