    Subtitle problem

Hello, thanks again for the advices in my earlier posts. The DivX video plays with no problem now.
Now the wish what I have is to use possibly subtitles in DivX video files while I play them. This seems too hard, since there doesn't seem to be one standard, so I'm asking you, how exactly should I do this and what program should I use? My movie I try to watch is in same good old DivX format, and the subtitles are in .psb format. (I have converter to MDVD format though, and I used it to conver them) I already tried MicroDVD but it's so difficult to use! I tried to create the ini file, but I seemed to fail
In addition, I also downloaded Redz divx player but I couldn't get the subtitles visible there either.

Gosh, so confusing!! Another thing I'm concerned about is the possible sync issues, what if the avi video file and subs are not in phase.

Anyway, thank you for your advice beforehand.

how about using subtitles in WMP?

Is it possible to convert the subtitle files to WMP format?? I hear rumours that it could play subtitles. There is this mysterious "caption" in the WMP.. Hmmm!

Use BSPlayer. I don't know about psb-subtitles, but it supports a lot of subtitle-formats.
      don't trust in guides

          I can't use them!

Nothing happens when I try to load the subtitles. I have them converted in .sub file, BSPlayer says that subtitles are loaded, but I can't see any.. Maube I'm just too dumb!

            Cool! Finally works!

My problem was incorrect filetype in my subtitle file. And when I tried to convert it, it seemed to be fine, but really was just a great pile of junk. I tried several third-party subtitle converter programs, and found one good which I can recommend to you all:
DekSoft: Subtitle workshop. It supports all what filetypes you need, also the one which WMP uses. And it's really easy to use and seems stable.

One thing by the way, how can you use captions in fullscreen in WMP?? They disappear always when I click "Fullscreen" , therefore I've been using Bsplayer.
If you can figure it out, I greatly appreciate it!!

DivX ;really rocks Thanks again for your advice.
