Help please

Hi, a friend has dumped a problem on me, urgent of course !!
He has two short videos (from camera) in SVDC format, and wants them copied in Windows Media format for use in a powerpoint presentation.

How do I do this. On my PC they happily run in Media Player.?????????

Help please

Downloaded that yesterday. For some reason it wont accept 'scource file' as the dvd drive disc is in, neither can I get the video to a file on HD which would be accessible.....Maybe brain getting too old !!!! Thanks anyway..

Okay, My second choice would be Format Factory. (Freeware)

Thanks Burrel....Have now managed to re encode the two discs to WMV, bit of a fiddle but seem to have mastered it. Now the problem is that Nero, and other burners, refuse to put the results on to CD or DVD without RE ENCODING back again. !!!
However I have put it on a mem stick to give it back, so all should be well. Thanks again, I have learnt something new !!!
