    Audio is too quiet

Hey everyone, I have an xvid video that I was trying to watch on the plane but the volume on it is so quiet that I couldn't even hear what was going on over the sound of the plane engines. Both my Windows and Media Player volumes are maxed out but I still can't hear it.

Is there any way to boost the volume so I can hear it better? I would like to watch this movie on the way home. Thanks in advance!

You can use a free audio program like Audacity. Use AviDemux to demux the audio. It's easy. Load the video into AviDemux, select the Audio menu, then save the audio track. Put that file into Audacity and make adjustments. Then use the Audio menu in AviDemux to join the audio file back in(select external file for main audio track then browse to the audio file you saved from Audacity.) Then just hit Save toolbar button in AviDemux to save the video.
